The Department of Market System Development, part of China's Ministry of Commerce, this week hosted "Retailing Business Order Seminar" in Beijing.

Representatives of domestic and foreign retailers, and Chairperson of China Chain Store and Franchise Association (CCFA) Madam Guo Geping, were invited to attend the seminar.

The seminar aimed to learn and discuss the unfair business behaviors and unjust competition behaviors between retailers and suppliers in dealing and promotion, to standardize the business order, and to accelerate the development of retailing in China.

Meanwhile, the seminar also devoted time to discussing two new regulations, "Measure of Retailers' and Supplier's Trade" and "Measure of Retailers' Promotion", which are to be issued and put into effect by the Ministry of Commerce early next year.
