China Yurun Plans 500 Shanghai Franchised Stores

One of the largest meatpacking manufacturers in China, Jiangsu Yurun Food Group Limited, plans to establish its sales network of 500 franchised stores of cooked food in Shanghai.
There are about 2000 stores of cooked food and meat products in Shanghai at present. Until now, this segment of the food market has not been a target for the large scale enterprises and capital.
The competition in this market segment is also chaotic becasue there are many small players operating at the low-end of the sector.
