AOC TPV Technology Group, one of the largest computer monitor manufacturers in the world, is in talks with retailers Dazhong and Carrefour to sell LCD monitors in their stores.

Duan Zhenhua, general manager of the sales department of AOC China, says AOC made more than 35 million monitors last year, accounting for over 30% of the world's total market share.

According to Duan, AOC achieved US$5 billion business revenue in 2005. In particular, the mainland income reached about US$1 billion.

AOC's LCD television manufacturing has been on a rapid rise since it acquired Philip's flat television service last September.
