Papa John's Continues China Growth

Papa John's, who recently started bringing its pizza outlets to China, announced revenues of US$248.4 million for the fourth quarter of 2005, representing an increase of 2% from revenues of $243.4 million for the same period in 2004.

During the fourth quarter, the initial Papa John's restaurant was opened in four markets, United Arab Emirates, Pakistan, Nicaragua and southern China.

A total of 33 restaurants were opened in all international markets during the quarter and 96 were opened for all of 2005, of which 39 have occurred in our fastest growing markets of Korea and China.

The pizza franchiser expetcs to sell more franchises in China as it expands throughout the country.
