Chow Tai Fook Eyes More China Stores

Chow Tai Fook Jewellery Company plans to expand its operations in China and invest RMB4 billion to RMB5 billion to open more franchises in mainland China within the next five years.

Chow Tai Fook is the largest jewelry chain in mainland China with 400 branches and 7,000 employees, and plans to open 120 new branches in China this year.

China's jewelry retail sales have reportedly posted a two-digit increase in recent years and the country's consumption of platinum exceeded half of the world's total output and gold production and sales are ranked fourth in the world.
