Wal-Mart Increases Expansion In Second-Tier Cities

Hebei's Baoding City has signed an agreement with SZITIC Commercial Property Company to open the city's second Wal-Mart store.
This project will cover 20000 sqm with a total construction area of 40000 sqm. The whole investment will be RMB2.2 billion and is expected to be completed in the first half of next year. The store will officially open in October 2007.
Wal-Mart will already opened four stores in Hebei Province in Shijiazhuang, Baoding, Tangshan, and Langfang.
