Gome Speeds Up Expansion In Hainan

Electronics retailer Gome, which opened its first Hainan store in January this year, has now launched its second store in the area.

Gome's second store was opened on April 22 at Jinmao District of Haikou. Compared with the first store, this store contains more goods and places more focus on high-end goods.

A representative from Gome says that the company wants to offer consumers more benefits before the May Golden Week holiday. So far they have launched a two-week promotion for group buyers in Haikou city.

Gome will also open a third store in Haikou by the end of this year.
