Wal-Mart Enters New Jilin City

Wal-Mart has signed a contract with Yangji Dongjia Youmate Shopping Mall to open a new store in Yanji, Jilin Province.
Yanji Dongjia Youmate Shopping Mall is located in the eastern business district in Yanji. It boasts a total construction area of 77000 square meters with an overall investment of RMB500 million.
The entry of Wal-Mart into the region is expected to drive up the development of local specialties.
Currently, Wal-mart operates 47 stores in 22 cities in China, including one in Shenyang, Harbin, Changchun and Dalian, respectively.
