Swedish Fashion Retailer H&M Plans China Entry

Swedish retailer H&M says it will open its first store in China next year.

H&M has targeted Shanghai and Hong Kong as the first stop for its China expansion. It says it will open two stores in the two regions, respectively, in 2007.

At present, H&M has 1244 stores all over the world. It says that it will open 100 new stores before December this year, which will mainly be located in the U.S., Spain, France, Britain, Canada and Germany.
