After running its business only in big cities in China for 16 years, Pizza Hut has now decided to expand to second-tier cities in the country and Yichang in Hubei Province is its first stop.
Pizza Hut is going to open a store at Yichang Junyao International Mall in Yichang in September 2006. Yichang Junyao International Mall is located in the bustling business area of Yichang City.
Most of Pizza Hut's stores are in big cities of China where there is sufficient consumption power. Pizza Hut chose Yichang because of the rapid economic development and market potential there.
Pizza Hut currently has about 200 restaurants in over 50 cities across China.
