Grease Monkey, one of the largest independently-owned franchiser of automotive preventive maintenance centers in the United States, has opened its China headquarters in Qingdao.

The establishment of the headquarters in China is the first step for the company's further expansion in the Chinese market. It plans to set up at least 300 auto repair franchisees in the next five years.

Grease Monkey has more than 200 centers operating in the United States and in Mexico. Grease Monkey centers provide preventive maintenance services that meet manufacturers' recommendations for most makes and models of vehicles, with no appointment necessary.

Crew members are trained in automotive preventive maintenance techniques, and participate in an intensive Grease Monkey Certification Program to ensure professional, quality service.
