BBQ Takes Expansion Steps In Shanghai

BBQ, one of the biggest food and beverage brands from South Korea, has opened a new store in Pudong, which is its sixteenth chain store in Shanghai.
BBQ is a food and beverage brand under South Korea-based Genesis Group and it has more than 1800 franchisers worldwide. BBQ is aiming to surpass Kentucky Fried Chicken within 14 years.
A marketing department representative from BBQ China says that BBQ now owns over 30 franchises in China, which are mainly in Shanghai, Beijing, Tianjin, Shandong and Yiwu.
