Gome Opens Five Stores This Weekend

Electrical appliance retailer Gome plans to open five stores this coming weekend, and four will be located in the outskirts of Beijing.

Wang Huiwen, general manager of Gome Beijing, says that these five stores are to be opened at Caishikou, Qinghe, Wangjing, Guorun and Yizhuang, respectively. He says that the outskirts have great market potential and can save costs, as well.

The opening of these five stores on one day creates a new record for Gome in terms of new store openings on the same day.
