Minto Coffee Enters Chengdu

Korea-based coffee chain Minto is going to enter China and open its first cafe in Chengdu, Sichuan Province at the end of this year.

Jin Yongbin, manager of Minto, says that the first Minto cafe in China will be located at Hongxing Road, Chengdu with a business area of 2500 sqm.

With an investment of RMB20 million, Jin says that Minto will be built into an all-around cafe that consists of business, leisure and entertainment sections. It will not only target business people, but also provide special areas for children and Internet surfers.

The price of products in this cafe ranges from RMB20 to several hundred to meet the needs of different clientele.

Minto has 26 franchised cafes in Seoul.
