Markor Furnishings Eyes Its First Southern China Store

Home furnishing chain Markor Home Furnishings has signed a contract with Galaxy the Third Space, an original creative lifestyle space of Galaxy Real Estate, to open Markor's first southern China store in Shenzhen.
Galaxy the Third Space will be open in April 2007. It is a luxury living space in Shenzhen which promises to offer a creative lifestyle and a shopping center themed with home furnishings.
Chen Tieshen, general manager of Galaxy the Third Space, says the company will mainly deal in high-end kitchen fittings, bath facilities, home furnishings and light decorations.
Markor has built a franchised retailing network in nine cities, including Beijing, Tianjin, Shanghai, and Hangzhou.
