AGD To Build First Shanghai Storage Center

Ace Hardware, one of the world's largest retailer-owned hardware cooperatives, has announced that its buying office Ace Global Distribution will set up its first storage center in Shanghai, China.

Located in Shanghai Waigaoqiao Logistics Center, the new storage center for AGD will cover an area of 1500 square feet, accepting 1000 kinds of products in its initial plan.

A representative from AGD says that the setup of this storage center will bring great convenience to the outsourcing chain in mainland China, in particular for Zhejiang, Shanghai and Jiangsu

Fu Andao, general manager of AGD, says that the Shanghai storage center enables Ace to buy all kinds of products that meet the needs of international retailers and also consign the goods directly to them without transferring in America.

Founded in 1924, Ace Hardware's annual retail sales from its more than 4,800 hardware, home center and lumber and building materials retailers top US$13 billion.
