First Food Unveils Its New Shanghai Store

Shanghai First Provision Company has opened a large food store in Shanghai Wujiaochang in hope of finding a new way to compete in the city's food retail industry.
First Food's Wujiaochang store covers more than 20000 square meters. Zhu Xiaoxiang, general manager of First Food and responsible for the retailing service, says that the opening of the store is a turning point for the company's development. Zhu says that they will create a new business pattern for this store as it is impossible to succeed by copying the business pattern of the old stores on Nanjing Road.
Designed as a high-end food boutique, First Food's Wujiaochang Store features more diversified food than its predecessors and also tries incorporating gift baskets as a selling point.
