Gome Adopts New Image

Local electrical appliance retailer Gome has begun to adopt a new image, hoping to attractive a younger shopper.
Following the replacement of the logo at its Guangzhou Tianhe Victoria Shopping Mall store and Zhongshan Liuyigao Digital City store during the past May Day holiday, Gome will change the logo for all its branches in Guangzhou within this year and then gradually alter the logo for stores across China.
Gome has changed the capitalized "GOME" into "gome" in its new logo and the color of the logo has also been changed from blue-red to orange-green.
Gao Jiqun, general manager of Gome Guangzhou, told local media that they began to change the logo after their annual meeting in March and have adopted the new logo for the newly opened stores.
