Shanghai Improving Bankcard Acceptability Rate

Shanghai hopes to improve the bankcard consumption environment for the tourism industry in the city.
According to People's Daily newspaper, Shanghai will push for bankcard acceptance in all hotels above the three-star level.
Shanghai has already added batches of automated teller machines at stores near venues of the Women's Football World Cup and Special Olympics.
According to the action plan of some related government departments, Shanghai will establish 100% bankcard acceptability rate among all hotels above three stars, and finish putting ATM equipment around main scenic spots as well as travel agencies in the city within this year.
