Apple Plans Boutique Retail Outlets In China Next Year

According to foreign media, Peter Oppenheimer, Apple's Chief Financial Officer, has disclosed that Apple will set up a boutique retail store in Beijing next summer as part of the company's global expansion.

Apple's fourth quarter report shows that the company's income from boutique stores reached US$1.25 billion in the quarter, an increase of 42% over the same period of last year. Oppenheimer says that in the fourth quarter of this year, over 50% of the users who bought Apple's Mac computer were new users.

Apple currently has 197 boutique stores across the world. The company plans to add 40 more stores next year.
