Nikko To Open New Five-Star Hotel In Shanghai

Nikko Hotels International will open a new five-star Hotel Nikko Shanghai in March 2009.

This 25-story hotel is located at 488 Yanan West Road. The hotel is the main building of Manpo International Plaza under the development by Shanghai Yuchang Real Estate Development Company Limited. It will provide 388 guestrooms, a 300 square meter Japanese restaurant, bar, executive lounge, banquet rooms, meeting rooms, business center, fitness and spa facilities.

Nikko Hotels International said this new hotel in Shanghai will focus on business guests from Japanese companies and local medium or upscale clients.

Nikko Hotels International, is an international luxury hotel group operated by JAL Hotels Company Limited, a subsidiary of Japan Airlines, headquartered in Tokyo. The group has managed 64 hotels around the world, of which six are in Greater China, including Beijing, Dalian, Tianjin, Hong Kong and Taipei.
