Owing to the price increase of raw materials, many commodity producers, including P&G and Liby, reportedly plan to increase the price for their washing supplies.
A employee of a convenience mart says that washing supplies, especially soaps, have had a big price surge over the past few months and the increase rate is between 20% to 40%. Although there has been no information about price increases after the Spring Festival, the promotion scale of washing supplies is lower than before.
A representative from Liby Group said it is true that they increased the price of soaps several months ago and it is because of the price increase in raw materials. But when referring to whether the prices will be increased in washing supplies, there has been no clear answer.
