First Outlets In Western China Will Be Opened In Chongqing

According to Chongqing Economic Commission, the first clothing outlets in western China will be opened in Chongqing in June 2008.

These first outlets in western China were reportedly invested in by Sasseur and Pacific Department Store and the construction was started fin 2007. With an area of 80,000 square meters, the outlets are located near Jinyu Overpass and cost about RMB500 million.

At present, more than 400 international brands have signed contracts with the outlet mall, including Armani and Boss. After the opening of the outlets, consumers in Chongqing will be able to buy world famous clothes, jewelry and cosmetics at discounted prices.
