Hola Plans To Open More China Furnishing Stores In 2008

"Hola's development will enter a new stage in 2008 and the company plans to open ten to twelve new stores around China this year", says Gu Yihua, general manager of Hola China. According to this plan, the number of Hola's newly opened stores in 2008 will be more than the total number opened over the past four years.

Gu says that Beijing will be the development focus of Hola in 2008 and 2009. Hola opened its first Beijing Sijiqing store at the end of 2005 and the second store in February 2008. The company plans to increase its store number in Beijing by another six in 2008 and its third store, Longteng store, will reportedly open in June or July.

At the same time, the company will also enhance its development in the Yangtze River Delta region. In June 2008, Hola will open a store in Wuxi and its stores will be opened in Shenzhen Xili and Kunshan store, respectively.

By 2010, the number of Hola's stores in the mainland will be increased to 42, making it one of the top international home furnishing retail brands in Asia.
