Qiaojiangnan Opens Restaurant At China Central Place

On May 10, 2008, Qiaojiangnan Group celebrated its eighth anniversary and held an opening ceremony for its China Central Place restaurant.

At the ceremony, Zhang Lan, chairman of Qiaojiangnan Group, reviewed the growth and success that had been achieved over the past eight years and expressed her expectations for the globalization development strategy of the company.

Zhang said that the China Central Place restaurant and the Liangma restaurant, which opened at the same time, are the 34th and 35th branches of the group in China. By the end of 2008, Qiaojiangnan will have opened more than 40 restaurants in Chinese cities, including Hong Kong and Macau. Before the end of 2008, construction of their overseas restaurants in Tokyo and New York will be finished and in the next two years, they will open 65 restaurants in 19 cities around the world, including in London, Zurich, Indonesia, and Moscow.

Qiaojiangnan China Central Place restaurant is located in the business street of China Central Place. Not far from Shin Kong Place, the four-floor restaurant covers a business area of 1,800 square meters, and can accommodate 400 people. Following the design philosophy of Qiaojiangnan, the China Central Place restaurant creates a "new Chinese style" atmosphere. Decorated with hand-painted goldfish oil paintings, the restaurant combines traditional Chinese elements and modern western fashion.

So far, more than 60 restaurants have entered the China Central Place business area, ranging from French restaurants, Italian restaurants and high-end Chinese restaurants to snack bars, fast food outlets, and cafes.
