Shenzhen Rainbow Department Store has announced that the company signed a leasing contract with Beijing Runbo Real Estate to open a department store in Lan Valley International.

Located on the southern side of the Shoupakou Bridge, Guang'anmenwai Street, Xuanwu District, the new department store will be Rainbow's first project in Beijing and is reported to be the company's 34th store. With four floors and a total area of more than 30,000 square meters, it is expected to start operation in the first half of 2009.

According to a representative from Rainbow, the location of the new store focuses on development in Xuanwu District. In this area, more and more high-end projects, including Hilton Hotel, and high-end consumers are gathering, creating a concentration of commercial activities and a large potential market.
