Weight Watchers Opens In Shanghai

Weight Watchers International, the weight management company, has opened its first outlets in Shanghai.

Weight Watchers Danone (China) Weight Loss Consultation Company owned by a joint venture between Weight Watchers International, and Groupe Danone has launched its first weight management services pilot centers in the heart of Shanghai.

David Kirchoff president and CEO of Weight Watchers International stated that the pilot center would be an invaluable source of learning as Weight Watchers builds a world class weight management solution in China, providing a customized weight management program tailored to the Chinese lifestyle and eating habits.

Weight Watchers centers are currently open in Hong Yi Plaza and Hong Kong New World Tower in Shanghai. Phased center openings will continue to be implemented throughout China on a national basis.
