The Chinese electronics retailer Suning has announced that it has signed an exclusive cooperation agreement with the international household appliances maker Electrolux.

The French retailer Carrefour has signed an agreement with Linyi Jiulong Real Estate to open a new Carrefour store, marking the international retail giant's entry into Linyi in Shandong.

The U.S. electronics retailer Best Buy has published a report, which states Five Star Appliance, a Jiangsu-based Chinese electronics retailer, has now become a wholly foreign-owned company.

According to a sales representative from the French retail giant Carrefour, the company will sell more than 120 kinds of products at a price as low as CNY1 per item in its South China outlets.

Information from Wuhan's latest Food and Drug Administrative Meeting shows that the number of retail drugstores in Wuhan dropped for the first time, a decrease of 37 drugstores compared with the same period last year.
