Japan's Inax Opens Flagship Store In Shanghai

Japanese bathroom products and tiles manufacturer Inax has opened its largest Chinese flagship store in the Huaihai Road business area, Shanghai.

The company says that it is confident in China's real estate market. A provider of environmentally friendly products for the 2005 Aichi World Expo, Inax will continue to provide help to the 2010 Shanghai World Expo.

Inax entered the Chinese market in 1996 and it has opened four manufacturing plants in Suzhou and Hangzhou. These plants are mainly engaged in the development, manufacturing and sales of tiles and bathroom supplies. Started from 2006, the company adopted a new franchise model. So far, Inax has 30 franchise stores in China and it plans to increase the number to 50.
