Chinese dairy firm Bright Dairy has published its performance report for the first half of 2009 showing a net profit of CNY45.33 million, a decrease of 67.8% year-on-year.

The report stated that during the first six months of 2009, the company made operating revenues of CNY3.852 billion, of which CNY3.748 billion was from its major businesses, showing a slight increase.

According to Bright Dairy's operating goal for the entire year of 2009, it plans to made revenues of CNY8.264 billion from its major businesses and it forecasts a total profit of CNY162 million.

Bright Dairy's operating revenue from dairy products was CNY3.657 in the first half of 2009, a year-on-year decrease of 0.28%; its operating profit rate was 39.44%, a year-on-year increase of 7.29%; revenue from other sectors was CNY90.91 million, a year-on-year decrease of 26.13%; and the operating profit rate was 11.5%, a year-on-year decrease of 17.28%.
