Carrefour has signed a new project with Hunter Real Estate, a local real estate company in Guiyang, marking the international retailer's entry into the capital of Guizhou province.

Located in Hunter City Plaza, Carrefour's new outlet will cover a total area of 18,000 square meters and its operating area will be 7,800 square meters. The new store is expected to open in September 2010.

Hunter City Plaza, a project developed by Hunter Real Estate, is situated at Guiyang's central main street Zhonghua road. With a total area of 380,000 square meters and investments of over CNY1.2 billion, it will be developed into a large-scale city complex that integrates a shopping center, a five-star hotel, first-class office building, a large leisure square, high-end residential cluster, and an indoor parking area.
