Best Buy Announces Further Expansion In China

Inspired by a dramatic increase in sales in the Chinese market, the global electronics retailer Best Buy has announced that it plans to open ten to fifteen new stores in China in 2010.

One of the world's largest leading consumer electronics retailers, Best Buy currently operates eight BestBuy stores in China as well as 167 outlets under the brand name of "Five Star".

Best Buy told local media that it would operate some of these new stores under the Best Buy brand and others as Five Star outlets.
