Rt-Mart To Open New Outlet In Xinyu, Jiangxi

Taiwanese supermarket retailer Rt-Mart recently signed an agreement with the government of Yushui district, Xinyu, Jiangxi province to open a new supermarket.
With a total investment of USD25 million, Rt-Mart's new outlet will cover an area of 25 mu, with a total construction area of 35,000 square meters. The new store is expected to open for operation at the end of 2011.
The Rt-Mart in Yushui district will be the largest comprehensive supermarket in Xinyu city with the most comprehensive product range and the best facilities. It will not only expected to improve the retail market in Xinyu, but will also provide jobs for 500 people.
Rt-Mart is a subsidiary of Taiwan's Ruentex Group. It opened its first Chinese mainland outlet in Shanghai in July 1998. By the first half of 2009, the supermarket retailer had opened 115 stores on the mainland and had over 100,000 employees.
