H&M Is Opening Its Second Store In Guangzhou

The Swedish fashion apparel brand H&M opened its second store in Guangzhou at Grandview Mall on October 14, 2010, following the opening of the first at China Plaza.

H&M's new store in Guangzhou has two floors and an area of 1,300 square meters, where a wide range of products, including apparel and accessories, are displayed. It enables consumers in Guangzhou to buy H&M's quality fashion products at the cheapest prices.

Lex Keijser, manager for H&M Greater China, told local media that they are glad to see that the H&M China Plaza store became a new shopping hot spot immediately after it opened. The company soon decided to open its second store in the city, because Guangzhou is a charming metropolis. The company hopes the new store can provide another shopping choice for local consumers.

H&M started development in Greater China from March 2007 and its first store was launched in Hong Kong. At present, the brand has 40 retail clothing outlets in the Greater China market, including nine in Shanghai, seven in Hong Kong, and eight in Beijing.
