12 Beijing Netcafes Face Punishment For Accepting Teenagers

Since a special action targeting netcafe businesses in Beijing was launched on May 10, Beijing police have received 60 reports about netcafes accepting teenagers and have identified 12 netcafes that are involved in allowing minors into their business sites.

The 12 netcafes are Beijing Jinrong Daxuntong Internet Service, Beijing Haozuo Feiyu Internet Service, Beijing Xinyu Yawei Internet Service, Beijing Tianxiang Online Internet Service Center, Beijing Donghua Dixin Internet Service Company, Beijing Qianlong Wangdu Aoyu Internet Service Company, Beijing Xinpingguo Internet Service Company, Beijing Jinsifang Trade Company, Huantong Feiyun Internet Service, Beijing Qianlong Wangdu Huihuang Internet Service, Beijing Binquan Internet Service, Beijing Litianyu Internet Service Company and Beijing Renyida Internet Service Company.

These netcafes reportedly did not check and record the ID card information of Internet users. Each will face a fine, but the amount has not yet been determined.
