Aini Coffee, the Chinese coffee raw material supplier who has just formed a partnership with Starbucks, recently announced the establishment of its first coffee experience store in Pu'er Simao Airport, Yunnan.

This marks Aini Coffee's formal entry into the Chinese coffee retail market and places it in potential competition with Starbucks, which is also fighting Costa Coffee in airport retail placement.

A representative from Aini Coffee said that locating in Pu'er Simao Airport has a significant meaning for the company, which aims to provide the original Yunnan coffee experience to more tourists from all over the country. With its carefully-selected coffee seeds and cups, Aini's coffee experience store will offer the pure Yunnan-style coffee experience to consumers.

The representative also said that Aini Group has nearly 20 years of operating experience in the coffee sector in China and it has been committed to the construction of its coffee industry supply chain. From coffee plantations, processing, brand marketing to coffee experience stores, Aini Group has completed its coffee industry chain layout.

With the mixed portfolio, Aini not only promoted the rapid development of the coffee industry within Yunnan province, but also sats it gained achievements in coffee varieties expansions, coffee plantation improvements, coffee processing technology, and coffee quality enhancement. The company seems poised to become a domestic competitor to foreign coffee interlopers entering the market.
