Yonghui Supermarket To Open Six Wanda Plaza Stores In 2013

According to Luo Wenxia, vice president of Yonghui Supermarket, the company plans to open six stores at Wanda Plazas in 2013.

Luo said Yonghui cooperates with Wanda Plaza in launching five or six stores on average each year. In 2012, the two parties jointly launched eight stores. In 2013, they plan to open six stores, which will be located in Northeast China, South China and Southwest China regions with over 15-year leasing periods. Luo said Yonghui stores at Wanda Plazas will have business areas between 8,000 square meters and 15,000 square meters. So far, the company has opened 16 Wanda Plaza stores.

The company already opened three Wanda Plaza stores, and it will launch additional three stores before the end of the year. These three new stores will be located in Harbin, Xi'an, and Nanjing, respectively.

Luo also revealed that Yonghui plans to add 500,000 square meters to its business area every year, which means the Wanda Plaza stores will account for about 15% of its newly added business area in 2013.
