Uniqlo Launches Official Chinese Internet Store On JD.com

Chinese B2C e-commerce platform JD.com announced that Japanese fast fashion brand Uniqlo launched an official flagship store on its website yesterday, April 17, 2015.

JD will provide service support for warehousing and delivery and operating support that cover PC and mobile devices to Uniqlo official flagship store.

JD said that the company will establish an exclusive warehouse for Uniqlo in Shanghai which can store up to one million sets of clothing. The warehouse will provide efficient delivery services across China and consumers in some regions can receive the delivery in only six hours.

In addition, Uniqlo's micro store and mobile client store will open on JD as well.

Liu Qiangdong, chief executive officer of JD Group, said that by cooperating with Uniqlo, JD will provide Chinese consumers with more quality fashion products. The company will continue to play its logistics advantages to bring special shopping experience to consumers along with Uniqlo.

Financial terms of the deal were not released.
