The world's leading sports supplies provider Adidas has published its performance for the first quarter in 2010, stating that its sales in Greater China were EUR198 million, a year-on-year decrease of 15%; and the decrease reached 20% if currency factors are taken into consideration.

According to a report published by the Chinese sportswear company Anta, it has signed an acquisition agreement with Belle International, one of the largest retailers of sportswear in China.

Chinese sports products giant Li Ning has published its financial report for 2008, which states that due to the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, the company made total revenues of CNY6.69 billion in 2008, a year-on-year increase of 53.8%.
