The French luxury brand Louis Vuitton has opened a new flagship store in the Dalian Times Square in Liaoning province.

Joseph Abboud, an apparel company from the USA, has announced plans to open its first store in China in autumn of 2008 and will open 15 stores across the country before the end of the year.

According to Zhejiang Administration for Industry and Commerce, Louis Vuitton Hangzhou specialty store was found selling unqualified products in a routine quality spot check.

Versace has announced the formal opening of its three specialty stores at Hisense Plaza, Qingdao; Seibu Department Store Futian Brand, Shenzhen; and Tower Department Store, Suzhou.
