The B2C e-commerce website Dangdang.com reportedly plans to launch a new e-book business channel in the second half of December 2011.

Chinese electronics and home appliances retailer Suning has released its performance report for the third quarter of 2011, stating that from January to September 2011, the company's e-commerce business grew rapidly and realized sales of CNY4.079 billion.

Chinese B2C e-commerce website Dangdang.com has released its financial report for the second quarter of 2011, stating that its operating revenue increased by 53.3% year-on-year to CNY790.8 million, which was about USD122.3 million; while its net losses also increased by 60% year-on-year to CNY28.4 million, which was about USD4.4 million.
