British men's apparel brand Byford has opened a new store in Beijing and the company plans to add over 60 new stores to its retail network in Greater China in 2010.

The South Korean department store retailer Lotte has announced its new strategy for the Chinese market, stating that it will accelerate its expansion in China and will open its first Chinese single ownership store in Tianjin in 2011.

The South Korean retailer Lotte has announced that it will focus on the Chinese market in its overseas expansion and it is planning to open 20 new department stores there by 2018.

Lotte Mart, the wholly-owned supermarket subsidiary of the Korean Lotte Group, has signed a contract with Tianjin Beichen Construction and Development Company to jointly build a hypermarket in Beichen, Tianjin.

Intime Lotte, a department store co-founded by the South Korean Lotte Shopping company and China Intime, will be formally opened on Wangfujing Street, Beijing on August 1.

Lotte has finally finished the integration of Makro in China after it acquired the latter five months ago.
