Japanese retailer Uny has announced that it has signed an agreement with Ting Hsin (Cayman Islands) Holding Corporation, a subsidiary of Ting Hsin Group, to set up a retail joint venture for the development of the Chinese mainland market.

According to Yu Guoxiong, a spokesperson for Ting Hsin International Group, Ting Hsin plans to open the franchise rights of its convenience store brand FamilyMart in mainland China at the end of 2009.

Japanese fast food chain Yoshinoya Holdings has signed a cooperative memorandum with the Taiwanese food giant Ting Hsin International Group to set up a joint venture for expansion in the Chinese mainland.

Pasco, a Japanese bread manufacturer, has jointly announced with Itochu Corporation that the two companies will cooperate with China's Ting Hsin International Group to explore China's bread market.
