Chinese Hotpot Restaurant Expands to North America

China's Little Sheep Food and Beverage Chain Company has entered the U.S. market by setting up a branch in San Francisco, the company said this week.

With the total investment of US$500,000, the Inner Mongolia Little Sheep American Company is expected to make hotpot, a popular and traditional dish in China, known to more Americans.

"Little Sheep," is based in North China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, has already set up four branches in Hong Kong, one in Canada and one in Singapore.

It says it has also registered the trademark of "Little Sheep" in more than 60 countries including Japan and the United States.
