Vietnam's Trung Nguyen Coffee Company in early February officially opened its eighth franchised Chinese shop in a busy street in downtown Nanning. This is Trung Nguyen's first franchised shop in the country.
This is also the first Trung Nguyen shop abroad to apply the company's new standards of franchising.
The 300-square metre shop in Nanning is decorated with typical products of Vietnam including rattan and bamboo, ceramics, brocade products and bronze drums.
Along with coffee, the shop also serves customers with Vietnamese food such as steamed rolled rice pancakes.
Other seven Trung Nguyen's franchise shops abroad are in Singapore, Thailand, Cambodia, Germany, Japan and the US.
