Wynn To Expand Into Chinese Market

Wynn Resorts, a top hotel group from the U.S, formally announced its entry into the Chinese market with the first hotel Wynn Macau to be opened in early September this year.

Wynn has spent about US$700 million on this hotel project in Macao.

At present, Wynn has set up offices in Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou to attract group clients for this hotel.

Ma Jianlong, administrative supervisor from Wynn, said that Wynn Macau is a miniature hotel of the larger Wynn Las Vegas and it targets high-end tourists traveling in Macao.

Wynn Resorts is a global luxury resort run by hotel magnate Steve Wynn in Las Vegas. Currently, it owns three world famous hotels including the Mirage, Treasure Island and Bellagio.
