China 3C Group has signed agreements with two of China's largest electronic chains, Guomei Appliance and Suning Appliance, to open collectively 203 independent retail stores in each chain's respective electronic supermarkets in eastern China.
The agreements with Shanghai Guomei Appliance Company Limited, Ningbo Guomei Appliance Company Limited and Zhejiang Guomei Appliance Company Limited call for China 3C to open independent retail stores selling 3C and related products in their 88 supermarkets.
Under the agreement with Suning Appliance Company Limited, China 3C Group will establish independent retail stores in each of its 115 supermarkets to sell 3C and related products.
Zhenggang Wang, Chief Executive Officer of China 3C Group, commented, "This is a milestone event for China 3C Group in our transition from a channel distributor to an independent retail chain operator. We are especially pleased to have a presence in two of the most established and well-known electronic supermarkets in China.
