Two Stores In Anhui Go To Carrefour

Carrefour is now planning to expand into second-tier cities in Anhui Province by opening two new stores in Ma Anshan and Bengbu by the end of this year.

Yang Xiaoquan, general manager of Carrefour East China Region, says Carrefour will regard Anhui Province as its main development center over the next few years.

The Bengbu store will be opened in December and Ma Anshan in November, and each will have more than 10000 square meters in space.

Carrefour says it is currently training its managers for the two new stores. Carrefour has already entered 21 major cities in China.
