KFC Changes Decoration Styles Of Its Beijing Stores

Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) is changing the interior decoration of its stores in Beijing to make them more entertaining and relaxing in order to meet the market demand for leisure consumption.

At the KFC Zhongyou Store, the unmovable hard benches have been replaced with dark brown leather chairs that can be moved around. In addition, more comfortable leather sofas and partition walls have been added to provide privacy.

The KFC Wangfujing Store and Guozhan Store are also being transformed to match the interior of the Zhongyou store.

Analysts say that with China's rising leisure consumption, restaurants have begun to compete via their decoration styles.
