Super 8 is going to open five new franchises in Chongqing.
Super 8 plans to invest about RMB380,000 in each of the new hotels.
A representative from Super 8 disclosed to local media that they are seeing real estate agents and older hotels in Chongqing as their target for cooperation. However, the person added that those older hotels must have at least 60 rooms.
Super 8 will rebuild those hotels according to its own standard, which will cost about RMB5 million in total.
Right now, Super 8 now has over 6300 franchise hotels in the world.
